Love your look Out of LA

Moikka lukijat! Kuten varmaan huomasitte uudessa Love your look postauksessa vähän kesti mutta olen hieman kehittänyt ideaa. Tällä kertaa Love your look tyyli on Los Angelista, ja sitä edustaa musiikin parissa työskentelevä Mili. Milin tyylin on just niin LA ja pidän siitä todella paljon, rock chic henkeen ja vereen.

Kysyin Mililtä myös muutaman kysymyksen hänen tyylistään ja näin Mili kertoi.

1. Is there a specific place or person that/who has inspired your style?

-I have always been inspired by Madonna, ever since I was really little. I always liked how she could take anything, whether it was a simple white tshirt or lingerie and make it look really cool with lots of accessories or a leather jacket. I always wanted the black rayban wayfarers she wore when i was a kid, and now i've had a pair of my own for 6 years.

2. How do you think your style has developed through the years?

-My style has definitely changed a lot over the years. I went from a super grungy kid who wore doc martens, levi's and flannels, to buying almost my entire wardrobe at thrift stores, to going a little more hippy/boho chic and wearing lots of colors, to wearing mostly basic colors, oversized tanks, skinny jeans, leather jackets and boots. Thats pretty much been my style over the past 8 years. Nothing makes me happier then black skinny jeans, my studded combat boots, a loose tshirt and fitted jacket. Oh, and lots of necklaces too, i love accessories. Living in LA now I have way more warm weather clothes, its nice to be able to layer a lot but not have to have a huge coat on.

3. Are there any key pieces that you have held on to for a longer time?

-I have a few key pieces that I have had a long time...one being my ray ban's I mentioned above. Next I have this really long thick silver chain that goes around my neck twice...it was my moms from the 70's and she gave it to me when I was still in highschool. lastly I have these black 80's boots that i found in a thrift store in Chicago about 10 years ago that are completely falling apart but I still wear them.
